The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, GPTC Meenangadi was started in the year 1983. The intake is 63. In addition to regular course, the department also provides part time course. There are 11faculty members in the department in which 4 lecturers and 6 laboratory staff members with the Head of Department. The faculty members, having strong sense of responsibility and dedication to provide quality education and adequate laboratory facilities for teaching purpose.
The diploma graduates are placed in Government and private sector both in India and abroad. The few are IOCL,BHEL,HPCL, ISRO and small scale industries.
