Department of Civil Engineering
The department of civil engineering was started in the year 1983. The department aims at providing quality education to equip the students to help in nation building. There are 11 faculty members in the department in which 4 lecturers and 6 laboratory staff members with the Head of Department.

Provide career oriented professional education to produce technically sound engineering and managers with moral and ethical values.
Develop students with outstanding professional and entrepreneurial skills.

Create a centre of excellence in civil engineering education and industry outreach services for a continually changing societal necessity with credibility , integrity and ethics.
Scope of Civil Engineering Diploma holders:
Civil engineering is one of the core engineering specializations is highly rewarding on planning, implementation and designing of a wide range of structural activities.
Jobs involve supervision, construction, design and analysis of private as well as public projects, such as dams, highways, canals, water sewages and bridges. The profession demands excellent skills for both administration and supervision of project competence. Railways, defense forces, municipal corporations are some lucrative job avenues which enhances Building Technology, Construction Management, Environmental and Water resources Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering and Transportation Engineering.
